My life kinda sucks rn. I wanna transfer my high school even thought I am senior. I want to because my bf is going to residential. And I just don’t want to be in a hell hole for 3 months without him.
Hello and thanks for reaching out. I am sorry that you are going through a difficult time. You must be really upset to think about transferring to another school during your senior year. I would suggest that you consider all aspects of transferring such as: 1) do you have credits to graduate in another school district, 2) will you have a support system and people you know there, 3) most importantly will your parents pay for an out of town school placement. If your boyfriend is going to a residential it sounds like he is agreeing to get help. However, when he return you will be at a different school. Just remember you are not alone. Please seek out support from school counselor or social worker and talk this through. You are also welcome to contact 2ndfloor on the app or call 889-222-2228.
