My parents always fight. Heck not even that, my horrible man of a father makes my mother feel like shit. Now my father wants a divorce and I have still not come out to him as a Pansexual Female.
Family dynamics can be very challenging at times to cope with. Have you thought about going to a counselor for yourself or maybe family counseling? It is important for you to have support in your life whether that be talking to friends, counselor, journaling, exercise, music, art, etc. Find a way to get your stress out and focus on making yourself happy. As far as coming out to your father, that is a personal choice and you don’t have to until you are 100% ready to. Here are two websites that can help you with exploring ways to tell your parents when you are ready, http://www.safeteens.org/lgbtq/coming-out/ and http://www.hrc.org/explore/topic/coming-out. I hope this helps you some and if you want to talk more please call 2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline 24/7 or text us anytime.
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
