im feeling both depressed and paranoid right now, and fearing death. i shouldve took my meds earlier but wanted to change the time i take them from morning to night. i shouldnt have because i've been panicky and unstable the whole day, and now, because it's night, my mood is even worse. i need someone to reach out to but it's late and nobody would answer, so now im here
I am glad you reached out to 2ndfloor. Yes, changing time or skipping medication can cause side effects. The good thing is that you realized it and can consult your doctor next time you want to make changes so they can guide and monitor you. The side effects will probably start to feel better once you taken your regular dosage. But please consult your physician if you continued to feel this way or start to get worse. For now please tell yourself this is temporary and you are going to get through this. Try to distract yourself by listening to music, watching a movie, or writing in a journal about this experience and how you are learning about medication management. Please know you are not alone. We can chat with you on our app or talk by calling 888-222-2228.
