Friendship
I have a friend who lives in Florida (I live in NJ) and I have not heard from him during the hurricane. My mom says she they prob have no power and other worries than checking with a friend. Just wish I know he is ok
Hi. I’m so sorry to hear and can understand why you are worried. Your mom could definitely be right. It seems like so many people are without power and could be for days. I know you just want to know he is ok and hopefully with time as power comes back you will be able to find that out. For now just try to keep thinking positively as best as you can and maybe try to focus your mind on other things to help that. If you want to talk about this more you can always call or text us at the 2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline. We are here 24/7 at 888-222-2228.
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
