SCHOOL
Bee chaos

The classroom geography bee is tomorrow for my school, and I'm really nervous. I've won the classroom and school competitions for the past 2 years and been in the top 20 of the state competition also. If I don't win, I'll have disappointed my teachers and parents, and I'll be the laughingstock of my school. On the opposite side of the spectrum, my peers are saying they're "not even trying" to win anymore. That makes me really sad because it's all my fault. I want to win for my parents and because I love the subject, but I feel awful for my peers. How can I be less nervous and resolve this problem?

So, its completely normal to feel stressed about doing well in a competition, especially if you feel that so many people are counting on you to win!! Remember, the most important person in that scenerio is you. You are the one who is in the competition and if you don't win you still should be proud anyway that you've gone so far. Listen, loosing can make you stronger. Did you ever hear the expression, "What doesn't kill you makes you stonger?" It's about any situation in life that doesn't work out the way you anticipated so make the best of it..you learn from your winning and loosing in life. So hold your head up high that you have done so well and if you win that's amazing but if you loose that's okay too. Just move on to another challenge!! Good Luck and I hope this helps! Also, remember the supportive people in your life will be happy for you no matter what the outcome is.
