After my father almost passed away, I started using food to help me to be okay and I would always binge eat in secret and I can't stop and I hate myself so much.
I am so sorry for the loss of your father but it seems like you can use some support. An eating disorder is used as a coping mechanism but it isn't a healthy one. I would suggest talking to your parents about this so you can get some help. This is an eating disorder website that you should check out. But please reach out to your parents or a trusted adult. www.nationaleatingdisorders.org (http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org) You can always call or text 2ndfloor at 888-222-2228 for further assistance. Good Luck.
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
