Bullying
Me and my friends have been getting bullied by this one girl and the school won’t do anything about it. She told the whole school I who I has dating, ( it wouldn’t have been a problem except for that we are both girls and are very private about our relationship) I lost most of my friends because of that and was treated like trash for months until people forgot about it, and the school brushed it off. She kicked my friend and she got a really bad bruise and the school didn’t do anything. It really escalated when she took my girlfriend’s diary and took picture of it and sent them to the school. We were in the office yesterday trying to file a HIB but the school didn’t care. All they have done was offer us “support” but when we do go they tell us we are over reacting. I don’t know what to do anymore. She is making school so hard for me and I dread going everyday because of her.
There are a couple of different things you could try to see how it goes. Maybe speak with your parents and even the parents of the other people being mistreated by this person about setting up a meeting with someone in the school depending on who you've already spoken to. If you've been working with the school's anti-bullying specialist and getting no where, have your parents reach out to the principal or vice-principal. If you've already spoken with all of them you may want to reach out to the superintendent of schools or even to a lawyer and see what options you have if the school isn't keeping you all safe. It sounds like you already have proof of what the person is doing since you said she is sharing pics of all of it online, but anything you could record such as kicking people, things she says, etc, would probably be helpful as well. I'm sorry you are experiencing this and hope you are able to get the help you are looking for so she stops treating you and your friends like this. Call or chat with us anytime to discuss further.
