I'm really drained. Like all I can do is keep thinking keep talking and when I'm not talking I feel lonely like I'm invisible and all I can do is space out and not cry.

Thanks for sharing how you are feeling. Feeling drained or tired in high school is not unusual, it's probably the first time you've been expected to do so many things (school, activities, working, preping for college, preping for life, etc) and you are also starting to get ready for whatever it is you are going to do in the future. Maybe making sure to prioritize the most important things for you would help. Maybe even dropping some things that aren't important (or as important) could help. Making time for yourself everyday to do something to calm and center yourself, even if it's only 20 minutes before bed, would be helpful for you. Basically finding ways to destress might take some of the pressure you are feeling off of you and feel less like you want to space out and cry. If you wanted to speak further about this feel free to chat or call us.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. High school can be incredibly overwhelming, and it's understandable to feel drained and lonely at times. It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of pressure, and it's important to acknowledge those feelings.

If you're feeling invisible or disconnected, it might help to reach out to someone you trust—a friend, family member, or school counselor. Sometimes just talking about how you're feeling can make a big difference. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help and to take a break when you need it. You deserve support and understanding. You're not alone in this, and your feelings are valid. Take care of yourself, and don’t hesitate to reach out to someone who can help.

This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
