Mental Health
I keep getting headaches, like a vice grip, and I think it’s stress. Wondering if that’s mental health or like a regular doctor. Making tough days for me.
It definitely could be stress since headaches can be a symptom of that, especially if that’s what you think it is. You can either try practicing some relaxation techniques or make an appointment to speak with someone in the mental health field. Some relaxation techniques would be deep breathing, meditation, yoga, or anything else that interests you that makes you feel calm. A regular doctor can always help too and refer you to a therapist after you tell them what’s been going on and how you’re feeling. If you would like to talk about this more you can call or text us at the 2NDFLOOR Youth Hepline. We are here 24/7 at 888-222-2228.
Hello! It does sound like it could possibly be stress, I would suggest relaxing and focusing on things that help you feel calm. In addition, staying hydrated and maintaining a healthy diet can also help with avoiding headaches. If this continues I would definitely schedule a visit with your doctor just to rule out any problems!
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
