Friendship
my friend has a history of cutting and her parents are always fighting and I want to help her I give her this number but they will not text or call it idk what I should do? Any ideas would be appreciated
You sound like a great friend for giving her our number as a resource and continuing to try to help her. If she is hesitant to call or text us right now maybe you can start with giving her these online resources:
https://butterfly-project.tumblr.com/
www.selfinjury.com (http://www.selfinjury.com)
www.selfharm.net (http://www.selfharm.net/)
Also, please give her our website: www.2NDFLOOR.org and maybe she can start by posting on our message board like you did.
If you feel like talking about this further you can always give us a call or text us too. Our number is 888-222-2228 and we are here 24/7. Good luck with your friend.
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
