Bullying
I constantly have to deal with cyber bullies. I've have to deal with this for years even when I didn't have social media. People constantly say that they want me dead or to disappear and I have no idea on what to do or where to start. Someone please help me. At this point I don't even know if I have any real friends.
I'm sorry to hear this. People can be very cruel. This is something that you must report to your school as soon as possible. If it makes you nervous then you should tell an adult -like a family member- who can report it for you. You would need evidence to support your claim so whether that is taking a snap shot of peoples' comments on social media or showing your principal and/or anti-bullying specialist the exact sites these comments are on. Don't allow more time to go on before you take action and stick up for yourself and what is right. You can also check out this website that has a lot of helpful information: www.stopcyberbullying.org
If you would like to discuss this further please call or text us at the 2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline. We are here 24/7 at 888-222-2228. Stay strong and reach out for help!
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
