So today at my prom place I work at. Someone left a 5 star review for the place that had my name in it, and because of that the girls r gonna be mean and say I am a favorite. What should I do?
I'm sorry to hear this review has been stressful, as you deserve to feel proud of your hard work! If you feel nervous about how your coworkers might respond, would it be possible to get some support from your manager? Work should not have to feel like a hostile place. It's also okay to speak assertively to your coworkers and let them know you don't like the way they're speaking to you. Please feel free to call/text us 24/7 at 888-222-2228 if you'd like to talk more about this!
It’s great to hear that you received a 5-star review! That’s a positive recognition of your hard work. If the other girls start to tease you about being a favorite, try to handle it with confidence and grace. You could respond with humor or simply acknowledge their comments without letting them affect you too much. Remember, their opinions don’t define your worth or capabilities. Focus on the positive feedback and continue to do your best at work. If the teasing becomes too much, consider talking to a supervisor or someone you trust to help address the situation. Most importantly, stay true to yourself and keep shining!
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
