Life is already difficult dealing with bpd and borderline but when im off my meds it makes it easier to make bad decision and I need help.
hi there, thanks for reaching out to 2ndfloor for support today. struggling with those illnesses can certainly make life more challenging than it already is; have you tried applying to see if you qualify for state insurance? you may want to check in with your local social services office to see if they can help you apply and see if they can assist you with additional resources in your area. you can also call or text with a support counselor from 2ndfloor at 888-222-2228 24/7 to further discuss in more detail.
There's also low-cost therapy options you can check out like: Aunt Bertha (Find Help) and Open Counseling.
Also, if you're in college, they sometimes offer free counseling in their wellness center
There's also peer-based support like Hey Peers, that are sometimes free support groups or meetings for a small fee.
This is a safe space to share what's on your mind and to get support from real people.
