Paranoid over sex

hi, last night me and my boyfriend wanted to try sex, of course, being stupid, we didn't use protection. this went on for about a minute, not even, 30 seconds i swear. we both flipped out bc we realized pre cum was an issue, i took a plan b pill within the hour of this happening. before we went to get it he didn't cum, we stopped. after taking the pill and waking up the next morning, my hips and lower back were very sore. is this because it was my first time? i'm just really really nervous as to what is going to happen. i get my period in two weeks so i don't know if i'm pregnant or not. there is a 95% chance of not being pregnant if you take the pill within 24 hours. so am i okay?

It is possible for your body to experience some soreness after your first time having sex. Your body can also experience muscle tension resulting from stress and anxiety, which it sounds like you may be going through as well. For more information regarding engaging in sex for the first time, you can check out https://sexetc.org/info-center/post/im-about-to-have-sex-for-the-first-time-will-it-hurt-will-there-be-blood/

As you mentioned, taking the morning-after-pill as soon as possible very greatly reduces any chance of pregnancy. While it's understandable that the remaining 5% of variability is giving you anxiety, it sounds like you took the best course of action to prevent pregnancy. A blood pregnancy test conducted by a doctor is the most accurate way to detect pregnancy. Over-the-counter pregnancy tests are most accurate when used after a missed period. For more information about safe sex and acquiring contraception, you can check out https://sexetc.org/ and https://www.plannedparenthood.org/. Being unsure about whether or not you're pregnant can be really scary, so I'm glad you reached out! If you need any further support, you can always call or text us 24/7 at 888-222-2228.
